Know what to practice today

Your daily review queue uses spaced repetition to surface pieces before they fade. No more guessing what needs attention.

Once you've learned a piece, it joins your daily review queue — so instead of wondering where to start, you can see what needs revisiting. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, every session has a clear purpose — practice with purpose, piece by piece.

Track tempo improvements section by section. Watch your pieces evolve from first attempt to mastery.

Small gains that feel invisible day-to-day become unmistakable when you can see the numbers. Your practice is working — now you can prove it, week after week, piece by piece.

Build momentum, not pressure

Weekly streaks celebrate consistency without punishing rest days. Because healthy practice means taking breaks.

Miss a day? Your streak is safe. What matters is showing up over time, not performing every single day. Arietta is your practice companion — it celebrates your rhythm, not a rigid schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is Arietta free?

Yes. Arietta is free during early access, with all features unlocked.

Which instruments does Arietta support?

All of them. Piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute, drums, voice — if you practice it, Arietta tracks it.

What is spaced repetition in music practice?

Spaced repetition schedules reviews of each piece right before you would start to forget it. Arietta applies this to your repertoire: pieces you know well come up less often, while pieces that are fading are surfaced in your daily queue — so nothing you have learned slips away.

What platforms is Arietta available on?

Arietta is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.

Where is my practice data stored?

On your device. Arietta is local-first — there is no account to create, and your practice data is never sent to a Torsvik Labs server. On iPhone, Arietta also backs up automatically to your own iCloud account, so a lost or replaced phone does not cost you your history — that copy lives in your Apple account, where we cannot reach it. On Android that off-device copy is handled by the system Auto Backup rather than by Arietta, and it is not working reliably for Arietta at the moment; the data on your phone is unaffected, but use the export in Settings to keep a copy of your own.

What happens to my data if I get a new phone?

On iPhone, set up the new phone with the same Apple account and install Arietta — your pieces, practice logs, and statistics come back from your iCloud backup, and Arietta offers to restore them the first time you open the app. On Android, do not count on the automatic backup for this yet: it depends on the system Auto Backup, which is not currently reliable for Arietta, and we are working on it. Export your data from Settings on the old phone and import it on the new one — that is the dependable path on Android today, and it is also how you move between iPhone and Android, since Apple and Google backups do not talk to each other.
